FISHING:
Big Game Fishing Charters
For the more adventurous, the crystal clear waters of Bazaruto are abundant with Billfish and big game fish. Half day and full day fishing trips available on our extremely well-equipped 28 foot and 31 foot ski boats. It is a mere 10-min away from the lodge and here you can land a fish of a lifetime. Trawling, drop shot, fly-fishing and light tackle excursions. The boat crew are very experienced and will look after all your needs on board.
Included in the prices are fuel and Marlin/Game fishing/Popping/Jigging tackle.
FISHING:
Rock and Surf Fishing
Along the beautiful coastline of Bazaruto you have 37 km of unspoilt beach to land an awesome Kingfish and another number of interesting species. Many world records had been caught off this island. The driver of the vehicle will assist in getting all the tackle ready for you and also where to go to land you a really great fish. You can go for a few hours or leave early with the sunrise and return when you feel like having a warm shower.
The equipment and driver are included in this activity.
Diving Experiences
With our Padi and Naui dive center, you have a range of dives and courses to choose from. Crystal warm water with an abundance of fish life and coral year round in Bazaruto.
Depths from 5 m to 40 m deep. We cater for the novice and the experienced divers.
Diving shark wreck where Mantas come to get cleaned to 12 mile Reef out in the deep ocean full of pelagic fishes and sharks. Everybody from beginner to the very experienced diver is welcome.
Turtles and schools of fusiliers and batfish on the shallower reefs to sharks and Barracudas on the deeper ones are seen on a regular basis and 8 out of the 10 reefs we dive are 5-10min by boat travelling. 12 Mile reef is a 35-min boat ride.
Easy, relaxed diving with small groups of people is our signature.

Guided Snorkelling Adventures
Thousands of colourful fish abounds in this tropical water. When the tide is low, you climb on a Land Rover and take a slow drive around the northern tip of the island to the snorkelling area. On the beach, there will be some umbrellas to protect you from the tropical sun. Wade in from shore and experience a rainbow of colours. The aquarium is the only place we take a small boat due to the distance from shore.
Times will be advised by the water sport staff the night before. Snorkelling is done on low tide only, which is the best time to go due to the big tidal difference.
Prices includes snorkelling gear, car & boat trip to snorkelling location (15 min).

Motorized Water Sports
When the tide is full in front of the lodge, you try a bit of water ski and tube riding for the ones who are looking for a bit of speed to make the adrenalin going. Also, try our exciting parasail and experience Bazaruto from a birds’ perspective.
Kids and adults alike are more than welcome to spend their energy with this pass time.

Ocean Safaris
Set out on an offshore boat trip to view some of the Indian Ocean’s most mesmerizing sea creatures. Gaze at Dolphins dancing in the waves. Look out for Humpback Whales from June to September during their annual great migration to breed and give birth. Also, the Leatherback, Loggerhead and Green Sea Turtles are often spotted from the boat or while snorkelling, giving you a unique experience to be side by side with these gentle creatures. You might even catch a glimpse of the elusive Dugong, the part of the largest remaining population of Dugong in East Africa, currently the largest population on the West coast of the Indian Ocean, estimated at more than 250 individuals.
The Bazaruto Archipelago boasts the largest population of these rare “Sea cows” on Africa’s eastern coast. Take a trip all the way down to Sailfish Bay and experience what the island has to offer while being offshore. Snorkel at Coral Gardens, one of the unique marine ecosystems in Mozambique, where hundreds of fish species inhabit the reef, giving you breathtaking snorkelling opportunities.

Island Exploration Adventure
Drive by lakes, villages and dunes and experience breathtaking nature sceneries the island has to offer.
Exit onto Sailfish Bay and drive all the way back to Sand Spit via the beach, where a picnic lunch will be prepared.

Paradise Island Picnic
Travel to Paradise Island by boat, where you’ll have the exclusive privilege of snorkelling with brightly coloured fish, followed by sunbathing and a beach barbeque.

Morning Lighthouse Excursions
Hike up the dune to the iconic lighthouse of Bazaruto and experience the breathtaking views this location has to offer. Enjoy a coffee or juice with a light breakfast snack before making your way down the dune to Coral gardens for an optional swim and a beach walk back to the Villa.
